To our valued residents,

As the economy begins to re-open its doors across Ontario, we would like to take a moment and thank our residents for continuing to use an abundance of caution in the community while carrying out daily activities – Social distancing, wearing face masks in public, washing/sanitizing hands, avoiding touching your face, and staying home when not feeling well and complying with updated public health recommendations all remain very important aspects in safeguarding those most vulnerable. By working together, we will get through this and minimize the spread of COVID-19.

Old Oak is committed to continuing providing a safe and healthy environment for residents and staff;

  • High Touch-Points – Enhanced frequency of cleaning and disinfecting of high touch points in common areas.
  • Non-Essential In-Suite Maintenance – Safely resuming non-essential in-suite maintenance repairs. Staff will continue to ask residents screening questions prior to entry and use personal protective equipment while in-suite. It will take us time to catch up on deferred maintenance and we thank you in advance for your patience and understanding.
  • Amenities and Building Manager Offices – As these areas begin to re-open (when permitted by government authorities), there will be capacity limitations implemented as per posted signage and floor markings. Please pay close attention to these controls in order to keep everyone safe.
  • Electronic/Digital Communication Tools – We continue to encourage the use of email, chat, phone, and discourage in-person contact when possible. These are very effective tools in keeping everyone healthy and safe.

Lastly, but very importantly, please join us in recognizing the tremendous efforts of our front line staff, who have been tirelessly working on-site throughout this pandemic. Without our Building Managers, Assistant Managers, Maintenance Staff, and Property Managers, it would be a daunting challenge to maintain safe and healthy buildings and communities.
